Fourth grader Addison Darby walks into her classroom one morning and finds her chair, her regular, ordinary, happy-to-be-sat-in chair is no longer tucked under her desk. Instead, Brookside Elementary Bad Luck Chair is there!
AHHHHH!
Everyone in Brookside Elementary School knows that if you sit in The Bad Luck Chair, bad, bad, bad things will happen to you. It’s a proven fact. It already happened to everyone who ever sat in it!
PANIC!
Addy can’t just ditch The Bad Luck Chair because Ms. Stern, her teacher, thinks that there’s no such thing as The Bad Luck Chair. Ms. Stern tells Addy to stop being silly and just sit in it!
EEEEK!
What’s a kid to do?
